Come and meet our super cute red squirrel!

Red squirrels are Britain's native species and have lived in the UK for around 10,000 years although they are now mostly found in Scotland and Ireland. The red squirrel mainly eats the seeds of trees, neatly stripping conifer cones to get at the seeds, they love hazelnuts, beech nuts, chestnuts and acorns. They will also happily eat berries, fruit and vegetables.
